Brighton College to Host BC Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure Info Session

Brighton College, a British Columbia based vocational school and career college, has recently announced an info session to be held by The BC Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure.

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Jan. 29, 2014) - Brighton College, a reputable Vancouver-based career college, officially announced an info session to be held by The BC Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure for their 2014 Recruitment in the Infrastructure's Technician Entry Level Program (TELP) and Engineer In Training (EIT) Program. During the info session the BC MoTI will provide more detailed information about their upcoming recruitment year and application process for current, graduates and prospective students.

The event will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 12:15PM, in classroom 3, at Brighton College's Burnaby campus. Attendance is limited to a maximum of 30 students and will last from approximately an hour and a half to two hours. Complimentary snack foods and refreshments will be available to those attending.

Upcoming graduates for the Civil Infrastructure Design, Structural and Building Technology programs at Brighton College will be given priority for attending the info session. The remaining seats will be offered to the programs current graduates. Potential students for the following programs will also be offered to fill remaining seats. The signup sheet will be placed at the reception desk at the Burnaby campus for students interested in attending the event.

Brighton College offers three popular programs which are pertinent to this field: a 32 week Civil Infrastructure Design Technology Diploma program, a 32 week Architectural Design and Building Technician Diploma program, and a 35 week Structural and Building Technology Diploma program. A 4 week practicum placement is included.

Additionally, the college offers three construction programs: a 14 Week Construction Drafting Technician Certificate program, a 15 Week Construction Technician Certificate program and a 32 Week Construction and Drafting Technician Diploma program. All construction programs include a 4 week practicum that is required or optional.
