BrightRoll Appoints Former Yahoo! Executive as Chief Financial Officer

Key Hire Bolsters Executive Team of Fast-Growing Online Video Ad Company With Deep Financial Experience


SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - April 4, 2011) - BrightRoll, the leading provider of online video advertising services, today announced that Ron Will, former treasurer and vice president of finance at Yahoo!, joins the BrightRoll team as chief financial officer. Ron brings two decades of experience in financial operations and corporate finance to BrightRoll during a period of rapid expansion. As CFO, Ron will oversee BrightRoll's finance, corporate development and human resources operations, reporting to CEO Tod Sacerdoti.

As Treasurer of Yahoo!, Ron managed global treasury operations, investment management, risk management and capital market activities. Ron formerly served as a senior member of Yahoo!'s corporate finance group, where he was the finance lead for a number of impactful acquisitions, investments and joint ventures including Flickr, Rivals, Whereonearth, the Yahoo!7 joint venture and Musicmatch. Prior to joining Yahoo! Ron spent 12 years in investment banking working at Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers and Bank of America with clients in the technology and media sector on M&A and capital raising transactions. Ron has a BA from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Dartmouth College.
