Bringing an Awareness to Senior Safety Issues in the Community

Toronto Police and Fire Chiefs to launch 2011 Safe Seniors Calendar at Sunnybrook

Attention: Assignment Editor, Education Editor, Health/Medical Editor, Media Editor, News Editor TORONTO, ONTARIO, MEDIA ADVISORY--(Marketwire - Oct. 20, 2010) - B.A.S.S.I.C. is a partnership between police, fire, government agencies and community groups dedicated to making seniors safer in our communities. B.A.S.S.I.C. is proudly launching its 2011 Safe Seniors Calendar. With the generous support for the past 10 years from The Co-operators Insurance, 150,000 calendars will be distributed to seniors in the GTA, and across Canada, free of charge!

The calendar features a different safety message each month, including pedestrian and driver safety, fraud prevention, fire prevention, a variety of health issues, and a comprehensive resource list with telephone numbers and web addresses.
