Bringing Jobs Back to the USA: Rebuilding America's Manufacturing Through Reshoring Will Be Focus of the ASSEMBLY Show Keynote Presentation

ROSEMONT, IL--(Marketwired - Mar 18, 2014) -  The ASSEMBLY Show is thrilled to announce Author and Consultant Timothy J. Hutzel, president, Tim Hutzel Advisory Board Services and Manufacturing Executive David Lippert, president, Hamilton Caster & Mfg. Co., as the keynote speakers for The ASSEMBLY Show. Mr. Hutzel and Mr. Lippert will discuss Bringing Jobs Back to the USA: Rebuilding America's Manufacturing Through Reshoring during the opening day keynote which will take place on Wednesday, October 29 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont.

"Hutzel and Lippert are known to say that American companies can survive and prosper while keeping their manufacturing base within the United States," said Tom Esposito, Publisher, ASSEMBLY Magazine. "In this must-see presentation, these two leading industry experts will provide a powerful one-two punch to debunk the myth that U.S. manufacturers can't compete with cheap labor countries." A retired manufacturing executive from GE Aircraft and Union City Body Co., Hutzel will explain why U.S. companies sent their jobs overseas, and detail the negative impacts this had on their products, employees, suppliers, and, indeed, the American way of life. More importantly, attendees will learn how Hamilton Caster and other companies are thriving by manufacturing within the United States, and find out how they put themselves in position to compete.

In addition to this dynamic keynote presentation, the exhibit hall will once again feature over 150 exhibiting companies, including many of the Charter exhibitors who helped launch the event in 2013. Charter exhibitors include Gold Sponsor Ingersoll Rand, ixmation North America, SCHUNK, Bosch Rexroth Corp., ASG, Div of Jergens, Inc., and others.

The keynote presenters and charter exhibitors will see a highly qualified audience of industry executives. "Our post event research indicated what our exhibitors already new, we delivered a very high quality audience of buyers who were looking for primary end products and services in automotive, aerospace, appliance, electronics and medical industries," said Esposito. "We look forward to once again bringing together these buyers and sellers of assembly technology for our 2nd annual event."

In 2013 companies sent executives from 3M, Abbott Laboratories, Baxter Healthcare, Caterpillar, General Motors, Harley Davidson Motor Co., Lockheed Martin, Motorola Solutions, Philips Healthcare, Xerox Corporation and hundreds of others. Attendees came from 42 states and 16 different countries and had the authority to purchase the following products: automated assembly machines, assembly workstations, conveyors and materials, power and hand tools, test and inspection equipment, and much more.

The ASSEMBLY Show 2014, sponsored by ASSEMBLY Magazine (www.assemblymag.com) will be held Tuesday, October 28 - Thursday, October 30 at the Donald E.
