Quotes

"Our Government is proud to support organizations that make quality arts and cultural performances accessible to Canadians. I congratulate the organizers of Red Lake Wilderness Entertainment Series for all they do to enrich the cultural life of their community."

-The Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages

"I am pleased to see our Government's support for the Red Lake Wilderness Entertainment Series. The live performances will bring excitement to the community of Red Lake, and I hope they become a tradition for many more years to come."

-The Honourable Greg Rickford, Minister of Natural Resources, Minister for the Federal Economic Development Initiative for Northern Ontario and Member of Parliament (Kenora)

"This funding will allow us to expand our series by increasing the number of concerts in a season, as well as including a greater variety of genres. It will also allow us to offer workshops with an artist for community groups, such as local theatre groups. Financial stability also gives us latitude to keep ticket prices affordable for the majority of people."
