Brinx Resources Commences Drilling on the Owl Creek Prospect

ALBUQUERQUE, NM -- (MARKET WIRE) -- November 23, 2005 -- Brinx Resources Ltd. (OTC BB: BNXR) (the "Company" or "Brinx") is pleased to announce the commencement of the first well on the Owl Creek prospect. The drilling of the first well the Powell #1 started November 23rd and will be re-drilled to a depth of approximately 5600 feet. The re-drilling of the well is expected to take approximately one week. The drilling rig is scheduled to move to the second well in the project the Johnson #1 as soon as the re-drill of the Powell #1 is finished. Brinx Resources owns a 70% undivided working interest in these two wells and the 1,100 acres within the Owl Creek Project. In addition to the Owl Creek Project, Brinx Resources also holds a 40% working interest in two wells and 880 acres in the Three Sands Project that is in the process of completing one disposal well and one production well.

This initial phase of the Owl Creek Project is to re-enter two wells, the Powell #1 and the Johnson #1 and wash them down to two and three respectively hydrocarbon bearing zones that calculate productive in the electric and radiation logs but were never tested. In the Johnson well not only do the logs show productive zones but also the mud log indicates significant gas anomalies in these zones. A mud log was not run on the Powell well but electric logs indicate that it will also be productive. These wells are located over a mile apart and should one or both of these wells be productive it would indicate that a significant oil and gas field may exist. The initial land position plus the additional acreage now cover most of a large 3-D seismically defined structure.

By way of modern technology, combined with historical data, Brinx expects a substantial economic opportunity exist to locate new fields as well as to recover additional oil and gas reserves. The Company is also investigating additional energy-related opportunities on an ongoing basis.
