Brinx Resources and Partners Announce Completion and Production of New Oil Well in Southern Oklahoma

ALBUQUERQUE, NM--(Marketwire - November 16, 2010) - Brinx Resources Ltd. (OTCBB: BNXR) is very pleased to announce the successful completion and production of a new oil well on the OK-6 project located in Sothern Oklahoma. This well was located based upon both 3D seismic data and geological mapping.

Completion of this well began over a month ago and initially the well produced a large quantity of water. Further testing indicated a poor cement bond between the casing and lower water bearing sands allowing the water to migrate up the casing and into the well bore. After "squeezing" with additional cement and successfully re-perforating the same interval, the well has produced water-free at rates of between 90 and 110 barrels of oil per day for the last three weeks.

"The successful completion of the latest OK-6 well is the direct result of our extensive experience and knowledge of operating in the area," said Leroy Halterman, President of Brinx Resources. "This region has some very complicated geology and our 3D seismic data gave us the confidence to rely on our original positive assessment of the well, despite the initial unexpected water. We will continue exploit this proprietary data as we plan new drilling in area."
This well was the first of three successful wells in the OK-6 project to be completed. Additional well completion should take place over the next several weeks. In the near future, Brinx also plans to participate in the drilling of several development wells offset earlier successful and currently producing wells at OK-6.

Further information regarding progress at the OK-6 project and other Brinx developments will be released, as it becomes available.
