SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA--(Marketwire - Nov 29, 2012) - Xirrus®, the leader in high-performance wireless networks, today announced the deployment of its Xirrus Wireless Arrays at Brisbane Grammar School in Queensland, Australia. The deployment will help the school realise its vision of every student having access to technology whenever and wherever they need it. Brisbane Grammar School has approximately 1500 students in years six to twelve.

Our school grounds cover over 40 acres and we needed a robust solution that could provide seamless access to the internet, resources and technology across the site. Brisbane Grammar School installed 53 Xirrus Wireless Arrays, replacing 160 existing Cisco access points. The installation was fully operational within four days. Xirrus was chosen because of the company's reputation in solving not only coverage issues, but also density and bandwidth issues.
