Bristles -- CertaPro Painters' New Mascot -- Was Left at the Altar in Las Vegas

Bristles' Fiancee, Betty, Is Nowhere to Be Found

PHILADELPHIA, PA--(Marketwire - September 28, 2010) -  Bristles -- CertaPro Painters' new paintbrush inspired mascot -- was left at the altar by his fiancée Betty who evidently got cold bristles. The couple was to be married in Las Vegas. Bristles is currently tracking down Betty to smooth things over and move on with their wedding. Bristles and Betty met by chance when she was working at Askners café and Bristles happened to be walking by; their eyes met and the two have been together since. Here is a video tribute to the couple's courtship:

Bristles is the latest in a long trend of company mascots. In the case of CertaPro Painters, with more than 350 franchises across the country, Bristles was developed as a tool the franchises can use to interact with their respective communities. From visits to children to after school art programs and community events, Bristles pays a visit and hopefully brings smiles to kids and adults' faces and extends the exposure of the CertaPro franchise.

Bristles will be making stops in different cities as he searches to reconcile with Betty. He will be joined by his best friend Buddy the Bucket -- a third mascot to be introduced by CertaPro Painters.
