Embedded High Definition Volume Rendering® Provides Web-Based 3D

PALO ALTO, CA and DALLAS, TX--(Marketwire - May 19, 2011) - Fovia Medical, Inc., a world leader in volume rendering technology, and BRIT Systems, a leading provider of PACS, RIS and teleradiology products, announced today that BRIT Systems will natively integrate Fovia's High Definition Volume Rendering® technology in all of the company's image viewers and PACS workstations. Through BRIT Systems' browser-based viewing technology, clinicians will have 24-hour remote access to interactive advanced visualization.

Fovia's HDVR® engine allows BRIT to deliver high performance 3D imaging on all of its platforms (Windows, Mac, and Linux), locally or via the web. With this seamless integration, BRIT will take advantage of Fovia's scalable, CPU-based, HDVR software solution to deliver cost-effective advanced visualization to its customers, while maintaining maximum flexibility to respond to the changing demands of the medical market.
