Goodman, the UK's leading provider of workspace, is playing their part by providing deckchairs at its business parks. Workers based in London, Leeds, Reading, Bedfordshire, Sunderland, or at the Birmingham Business Bark are ditching their office chairs at lunchtime in favour of a deckchair to enjoy the sunshine, blue skies and a picnic lunch with colleagues.

Jim Johnston, Managing Director, Goodman UK Business and Science Parks, said: "The deckchairs have created a great atmosphere at the parks. Resembling a scene from Hyde Park, we have seen people taking a break to experience the soaring Mediterranean temperatures and go back to their desks feeling refreshed and reinvigorated for the afternoon. The Goodman deck chairs will be available all summer, so let's hope the warm weather remains with us and they get plenty of use!"

Louisa Jones, Spokeswoman, Clearswift said: "One of the best attributes of this business location is the quality landscaped grounds surrounding the offices, so we really appreciate Goodman's efforts to encourage our employees to take a break at lunchtime and make the most of the good weather. Not all good business ideas are conceived in the work place, so who knows what this informal lunchtime networking will spark."
