British Columbia Implements iVOS® "One-System" Solution

International Customer Consolidates Claims, Risk Analysis, and Other Services Onto Single Platform

SAN RAMON, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 12, 2007 -- Valley Oak Systems, Inc., a national provider of claims management software, services and support, today announced the British Columbia Provincial Government selected and implemented the iVOS "one-system" claims solution to optimize its claims-processing efficiency; leverage robust risk management and data analysis capabilities; and consolidate multiple, disparate information systems.

We selected iVOS because it's more than a claims system; it's a complete risk management information system (RMIS)," said Dan Phillips, project manager of the RMIS at the British Columbia Provincial Government. The British Columbia Provincial Government performed an in-depth assessment of its existing systems and processes, and decided that they needed a claims system that would incorporate a number of process improvements and internal controls. A key factor in selecting iVOS was the desire to integrate related insurance functions onto a single platform, and to obtain more contemporary technologies, such as document-imaging, claims email, automated forms and correspondence, workflow management through an advanced rules engine, and event management to report and track incidents.
