British Triathlon and Wiggle Announce Sponsorship Deal

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwire - Sept. 8, 2010) - British Triathlon has teamed up with the UK's leading online bikes retailer Wiggle and Focus Bikes in a four-year sponsorship deal. The deal will see Wiggle become the Official Retail Supplier and Focus the Official Bike Supplier to the current Sport Governing Body of the Year.

This exciting partnership will see the creation of a British Triathlon online shop, exclusive to Home Nation members of Triathlon England, triathlonscotland and Welsh Triathlon, who will all receive a 12 per cent discount on a wide range of triathlon products.

The shop can be found at www.britishtriathlonshop.org and will be supported by other British Triathlon partners such as adidas, Maxifuel and 2XU. Members will also be able to receive discounts on Focus Bikes.

The website will offer all GE Great Britain Age Group Team qualifiers a one-stop shop for all their team kit, as well as having access to an increased range of triathlon clothing.

The deal will also see a number of British Triathlon's GE Great Britain team riding Focus bikes, including Matt Sharp, member of the UK Sport Lottery funded British Triathlon World Class Performance Programme.
