BritRail Passes for Travelers Under 26 Now Available in 1st Class From Rail Europe

WHITE PLAINS, NY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 5, 2005 -- Travelers under 26 headed to the UK can now save money in either 1st or standard (2nd) class on trains throughout England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Until now, "youth" versions of BritRail Passes - priced 25% lower than adult passes - have only been available in standard (2nd) class. This year, Rail Europe is offering youth versions of most of the BritRail line of passes in 1st class, as well as standard class. Railpasses must be purchased in North America.

Young travelers can choose 1st or standard class for the BritRail Consecutive Pass (starting at $157 US/$202 CAD for 4 consecutive days of rail travel), BritRail Flexipass (starting at $199 US/$255 CAD for any 4 rail travel days in a 2 month period), BritRail England Pass (starting at $127 US/$157 CAD for 4 consecutive days in 2 months) or BritRail London Plus Pass (starting at $52 US/$64 CAD for any 2 days of rail travel in an 8-day period). Standard class adult versions of these passes are priced at $209 US/$269 CAD, $265 US/$339 CAD, $169 US/$209 CAD and $69 US/$85 CAD, respectively.

Discounted BritRail Passes for Seniors (60 and over) traveling in 1st class, parties of three or more (Party Pass) and families (one free child aged 5-15 per full paying adult) are also available from Rail Europe.
