Broadband Learning Corporation Reports 2007 Q2 Results and First Half 2007 and Announces Major Project

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH--(Marketwire - Aug. 29, 2007) - Broadband Learning Corporation ("Broadband Learning") (TSX VENTURE:BLC), a participant in the rapidly expanding distance learning market, today reported its un-audited financial results for the three months and six months ended June 30, 2007.

Sales for the three and six month periods were significantly below expectation and year-over-year and were flat compared with 2006, however the awarding of a contract to Broadband Learning worth more than US$4.0 million in the near term, rising to over US$10 million in subsequent phases, was announced by the company in a separate press release issued today. This contract represents a significant achievement for the company and will have a positive long term effect on earnings growth.
