Broadview Press Inc. Hires Fraser Seely as COO

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - March 1, 2007) - Broadview Press Inc. (TSX VENTURE:BDP) is pleased to announce that Fraser Seely has agreed to join the company as Chief Operating Officer, effective April 2, 2007. Seely will replace Craig Lawson, who has announced his plan to resign on June 29, 2007.

Seely has worked in publishing for over 20 years. He started his career in the early 1980s as a sales rep for Oxford University Press. He went on to work for Western Producer Prairie Books in Saskatoon, before buying and managing Fifth House Publishers in 1988. In 1998 Mr. Seely sold Fifth House to Toronto-based Fitzhenry and Whiteside, and in 2003 he joined BC-based Heritage House, where he served as VP Publishing and Publisher of Rocky Mountain Books. From April
2003 to May 2006, Seely served as a member of Broadview's Board of Directors.
