BroadWare Appoints Veteran Marketing and Sales Executive as Vice President of Sales

Patrick K. Reilly Has 30 Years Experience in Increasing Revenue of Security Technology and Enterprise Software Companies

Mr. Reilly brings nearly 30 years of high-technology sales, marketing and business development experience to BroadWare, with more than 20 years at the executive level. He will be responsible for BroadWare's worldwide sales efforts and for driving the company's growth within commercial and government video markets, including video surveillance and other uses of enterprise-wide video management.

Prior to joining BroadWare, Reilly was Vice President of Marketing and Federal Development for CloudShield® Technologies, Inc., a provider of a programmable, high speed, deep-packet inspection platform and development tools for service providers and large federal agencies. Prior to CloudShield, he was the Vice President of World-wide Sales, Marketing, and Business Development for Cylink, Inc., a security software and hardware provider for large enterprises, where he helped achieve the first profitable quarter in the company's history as a public company. His two years at Cylink culminated in acquisition of the company by SafeNet, Inc.

He holds a B.S. and M.A. and was founder of the Council for Continuous Improvement, a consortium established in the early 1990s to foster increased American competitiveness through the spread of quality management practices. Its 225 member companies included AMD, Apple, Dell, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Intel, Motorola, and Sun.
