BroadWare and Intergraph Team on IP-Based Video Management and Command-and-Control Platform

Partnership Enables Rapid Detection and Response to Security Breaches and Facilitates Inter-Agency Communication

SANTA CLARA, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 19, 2006 -- BroadWare Technologies, Inc., the leader in distributed video surveillance, has partnered with Intergraph Corporation (NASDAQ: INGR) to integrate BroadWare's open systems video platform with Intergraph's foundational security command-and-control technology. This integrated solution feeds high-quality video from remote locations to central command centers to speed decision making and response time when a security event occurs and to help disparate safety and security agencies share incident response and management information.

"Our goal is to marry BroadWare's best-in-class distributed video technology with Intergraph's expertise in large-scale command and control solutions to enable agencies that must work together to more efficiently manage and resolve security events," said Bill Stuntz, CEO of BroadWare Technologies, Inc. "This is a complementary technology partnership that delivers video-enhanced end-to-end security applications for public safety and security agencies around the world."

Integraph Corporation is a world leader of award-winning public safety and security software that enables security and public safety organizations around the world to rapidly detect and respond to critical incidents. BroadWare's digital video surveillance platform adds video viewing and management capabilities to the Intergraph command-and-control platform to help government agencies make faster, better decisions. Intergraph and BroadWare's areas of expertise include transportation security systems, police, fire and emergency response agencies and high-security U.S. government installations.

"BroadWare's open systems video platform and technical expertise, coupled with Intergraph's proven, foundational security technology, provides both of our customers the ability to distribute real-time video, along with other timely data, to first responders at multiple agencies in order to reduce and prevent confusion during a security breach," said Robert H. Scott, Director, Intergraph Security, Government and Infrastructure Division. "By sharing video and incident response and management information, agencies are able to work together more closely and efficiently, which ultimately saves lives."

Under the agreement, Intergraph is providing its commercial, off-the-shelf command and control security technology with the BroadWare open systems network video platform. The Intergraph solution provides major incident management, mobile computing access, Web-based access, automated field reporting, records management, video forensics and interoperability with other systems. In the event of an emergency, an operator clicks on a camera icon within the Intergraph command-and-control screen to switch to that camera's field of view. By using BroadWare Command Servers (BCS), operators are able to coordinate simultaneous viewing of multiple camera feeds and switch manually or automatically between feeds and display patterns. BCS is easily integrated with Intergraph's foundational security technology and other systems to automatically display video in response to pre-selected triggers such as a building's fire system or outdoor motion sensors and UAV feeds for military applications.
