Brokers' Service Marketing Group Promotes Andrew Hamill to Executive Vice President Institutional Accounts

PROVIDENCE, RI--(Marketwired - June 25, 2013) - Brokers' Service Marketing Group (BSMG) announced today that Andrew Hamill has been promoted to Executive Vice President Institutional Accounts. Andrew will be responsible for leading BSMG's strategy of growth and expansion in institutional markets as well as managing all aspects of tioTERM, BSMG's revolutionary paperless, multicarrier, term life insurance platform.

Prior to joining BSMG in 2009, Andrew spent 10 years with Genworth Financial's Life Brokerage Division, most recently holding the position of Senior Vice President, Producer Group Channel Leader. Andrew started his insurance career as an agent for Prudential Insurance in Pennsylvania and spent 4 years as Business Manager/Field Director of Prudential Preferred's European Agency in Germany. During his 23 years in the insurance industry, Andrew has won numerous awards including the Platinum Award and Chairman's invitation to the Achieving Business Impact Symposium with Genworth, the President's Trophy and multiple citations with Prudential, and has been a perennial conference qualifier.

Andrew is a Board Member of the Society of Financial Services Professionals Charleston, SC chapter, was a past Board Member of the Richmond, VA chapter and Education Chairman of the European LUA. He is a past Board Member of the March of Dimes Central Virginia Chapter, and Regents School of Charlottesville. Andrew attended Penn State University and graduated with a Degree in Economics. He also earned his CLU and ChFC designations from the American College, and the CLTC and LTCP. In addition, Andrew is registered with the NASD with Series 6, 7, 24, 26, and 63 and is insurance licensed in the state of South Carolina.
