TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Jan. 20, 2011) - Brompton Funds (TSX:AOG.UN)(TSX:AV.UN)(TSX:OGF.UN)(TSX:VIP.UN) – For the year ended December 31, 2010, Brompton VIP Income Fund, Brompton Advantaged VIP Income Fund, Brompton Oil & Gas Income Fund and Brompton Advantaged Oil & Gas Income Fund (collectively, the "Funds") provided excellent returns¹ of 24.9%, 23.4%, 32.9% and 32.4% respectively, with significant outperformance compared to their relevant benchmarks. Brompton Funds is pleased to announce that the Funds' monthly distribution rates for record dates from January to March 2011 will be at the same rate as was paid in 2010.
