broughtonHOTELS Partners With Historic Henry Howard Hotel

A Leading U.S. Hospitality Management Company to Run Long-Standing New Orleans Hotel, Broadening broughtonHOTELS' Rapidly Expanding Portfolio

ANAHEIM, CA--(Marketwired - December 16, 2015) - broughtonHOTELS, a full-service hospitality management company, expands its portfolio of distinctive hotel properties with the addition of their latest property: the historic Henry Howard Hotel, a landmark in the Garden District of New Orleans. In addition to managing the hotel, broughtonHOTELS will continue to work with the new owners at The Fitzgerald Group to complete the extensive renovation of the property, which is set to re-open in January 2016. The renovation will pay tribute to the hotel's longstanding history, and include significant interior design as well as service upgrades for the guestrooms, suites, public and event spaces.

"We are exited to partner with the Henry Howard Hotel," said Larry Broughton, founder and chief executive officer. "Our team is looking forward to reviving such an iconic landmark in the incredible city of New Orleans. Armed with nearly two decades of expertise and a track record of success, broughtonHOTELS is thrilled to introduce the next chapter of this hotel's history with a new look, new energy and rewarding new hotel experience."

Founded in January 2001 by Larry Broughton, Anaheim-based broughtonHOTELS is an innovative hospitality management and development organization that breaks the industry mold. With nearly 20 hotels stretching from California to Chicago, broughtonHOTELS is reinventing the hotel group model by focusing on five core strategies: superior hotel renovations; efficient operations; forward thinking sales and marketing; transparent financial services; and authentic guest service. Under Mr. Broughton's leadership, the entire organization runs on the philosophy that practical matters such as linen thread count, good water pressure and great amenities are important to the guest experience, but that they are ultimately not what a hotel will be remembered for. Instead, it's about the social interaction and the human component that will make a guest's experience authentic, memorable and in today's connected world, shareable.

broughtonHOTELS has been recognized among the Top 100 Management Companies in the U.S. by both Hotel Business and Hotel & Motel Management, while Larry Broughton has received Ernst & Young's prestigious Entrepreneur of the Year® award, the National Veteran-Owned Business Association's Vetrepreneur® of the Year, Coastline Foundation's Visionary of the Year and Passkeys Foundation's National Business Leader of Integrity, among other awards and distinctions.
