The album is also RIAA-certified Gold across multiple international territories including Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland and France. Mars has also sold an impressive 14.7 million singles worldwide.

Announced last week, Mars is one of the top finalists for the 2011 Billboard Music Awards. The ceremonies will air live on ABC from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 22nd at 8 pm ET/PT (check local listings).
