Bryan Hawthorne Promoted to Lead Power and Technology Consulting Group for Burns & McDonnell in Southern California


BREA, CA--(Marketwired - Nov 2, 2015) -  Bryan Hawthorne, PE, has been promoted to regional manager of a team in Southern California specializing in financial and engineering analysis of power projects as well as technology consulting services. He has transferred to Burns & McDonnell's office in Brea, Calif., where his team will assist clients with capital project development, transmission and distribution system planning, due diligence reviews, strategic siting assistance, and technology consulting that includes program management tools and GIS services.

Hawthorne works with many of Burns & McDonnell's largest power clients, providing analysis and recommendations in support of large-scale capital investment plans, asset acquisitions, environmental compliance upgrades, plant performance assessments, and decommissioning assessments. His experience includes traditional fossil-fueled power generation projects as well as solar, wind and biomass power projects. His experience includes projects with clients like Arizona Public Service, Duke Energy, NV Energy, San Diego Gas & Electric, NRG Solar and CPS Energy.

Hawthorne has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and is a registered professional engineer.
