Bubbles Car Wash Offers Free Washes to Veterans

Third Annual Operation: Free for the Brave Campaign Scheduled for Veteran's Day

HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwire - October 25, 2010) - On Thursday, November 11, 2010, Bill Lawrence and his partners Clayton Clark and Bill DeArman will offer free car washes to anyone that currently serves or has served in any branch of the armed forces of the United States of America. This special Veteran's Day salute, dubbed "Operation: Free for the Brave," will take place at all Bubbles Hand Wash and Bubbles Express locations in the greater Houston area.

"This is our third year of doing this," says Bubbles Chairman Bill Lawrence. "We hope to wash 10,000 cars this time around. Every citizen of this country as well as our geographic neighbors and allies abroad owe a debt of gratitude to these brave men and women so we're doing what we can to say 'Thank you' in a small, but hopefully significant way."

To maximize the speed, convenience and accessibility of this gesture, Lawrence and his partners have waived the need for any documentation or proof of service. Interested patrons can visit www.BubblesCarWash.com for locations and hours of operation.

"If they tell us they are a veteran or are currently in service, their word is good enough for us," says Lawrence. "For the last two years, we've had a number of people show up in uniform, which makes us feel especially proud."

Even those who have not been a part of the armed forces can take part in this overture. Bubbles patrons who make a $5 donation to the USO will receive a $10 voucher that will be honored on their next visit to any Bubbles location.

Bubbles Hand Wash opened its first location in 1991 and has grown to include 5 locations over the past 15 years. Bubbles Express opened its first location in April 2005, and has now grown to include 7 locations. Combined, the two companies employ close to 300 Houstonians. Bubbles adheres to the recommended, environmentally-friendly practices of the International Car Wash Association and local municipalities with regard to the responsible disposal of water and cleaning products generated by the car cleaning process.
