Buckhead Business Radio Features Pecan Productions Studios and Orange SMS

Les Adkins and Franklin Cox Discuss What Differentiates Their Businesses From Others Who Offer Similar Services

ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwired - January 16, 2015) - On December 23rd, 2014, Buckhead Business Radio welcomed to the studio Franklin Cox of Pecan Productions Studios and Les Adkins of Orange SMS. Host Rich Casanova spoke with these business founders about how important it is to make yourself stand out from other businesses that offer the same services.

Cox discussed his movie and video production business. Something that differentiates Pecan Production Studios from other studios is their understanding of how corporate communications is vital to success within the business. Pecan Productions helps corporations make their promotional videos to increase business within their company. Cox found his passion for production at a young age. He acted in elementary school and took drama classes in high school. From there, he studied theatre at the University of Georgia. In 1993, he declared himself as a drama major and pursued his passion for all things film.

"There are many ways to increase and expand the productivity of a company," said Cox. "Communication is key. Communication within that company is crucial, and in doing so, should be the first step in creating and motivating your work force. Aligning them to the vision and mission of the company."

Adkins, the "Zig Ziglar of Social Media," is the founder of Orange SMS. His job is to help businesses bridge the gap between old corporate and new technology-savvy business models. In today's market, being caught up to the ways of 2015 is vital to the success of a business. Orange SMS helps companies develop their digital strategies. Adkins graduated from the University of Nebraska and ended up in Atlanta working for corporate America for 25 years. After 25 years of pursuing his own business, he started Orange SMS.

"What we do to help organizations and individuals is we help them build influence in their digital world," said Adkins. "So helping organizations understand that it's a lot more than social media. You've got to look at the overall digital environment, you've got to really understand who your audience is and then go after that audience."
