Consumers Can Take Their Entire Multimedia Library Anywhere and Stream It Wirelessly to Multiple Devices With MiniStation(TM) Air Wireless Mobile Storage

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwired - Jul 9, 2014) - PacketVideo (PV), the global leader in providing rich media experiences via the products and services offered by many of the world's leading Communications Service Providers (CSP) and Consumer Electronics (CE) companies, today announced that the new Buffalo MiniStation™ Air Wireless Portable Hard Drive uses PacketVideo Twonky SDK to support mobile streaming and wireless download for movie, music and photo files.

Recognizing that modern consumers are increasingly mobile, Buffalo has expanded the ways active people can manage media with its latest portable hard drive. Using the PacketVideo Twonky SDK, MiniStation™ Air enables consumers to take their multimedia library with them anywhere and stream music, photos and movies to multiple devices at the same time. MiniStation Air features 1 TB of storage, a USB 3.0 port and can stream content wirelessly to tablets or smartphones for immediate playback, or download and storage. "Consumers are watching more video and creating more multimedia content than ever before. Twonky Beam apps and MiniStation Air can bring better mobile entertainment," said Tomohito Nakamura, General Manager of Memory Storage Business Unit at Buffalo. "As the popularity of photos and video continues to rise and file sizes skyrocket accordingly, we're excited to be able to help our customers take their media anywhere.
