Build It Forward Comes to Life With Launch of Website gives fans the opportunity to help build a home for families in need

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Dec. 21, 2010) - BUILD IT FORWARD, the new television series that will give seven families the opportunity to have their lives changed, and in turn, change the lives of others, now has an online home at The program, which will be hosted by Paul Brandt, the most awarded male Canadian Country Artist in history, is currently being produced by Corkscrew Media in association with CMT (Canada). BUILD IT FORWARD is currently scheduled to launch on CMT in 2011.

BUILD IT FORWARD will chronicle the emotionally challenging journeys of seven families at risk of homelessness who will be receiving a new home. BUILD IT FORWARD moves beyond all other home-building and home makeover shows by pushing the "giving back" envelope. While the recipient family works firsthand and receives the goodwill and grace of donations and volunteers in the creation of their new home, they are also required to help build a new home for another family – this time in a developing country.

The anticipation and interest in the show from fans and the community has been steadily building since the show's concept was announced this fall. At, fans may contribute firsthand to the cause, giving them the opportunity to donate to each home being built.

"The idea behind BUILD IT FORWARD is about giving people the chance to pay it forward, and build it forward, whether it's by giving to the cause, volunteering at a home site, or being a good corporate citizen. In turn, we are able to support seven amazing families, by giving them the opportunity to change their lives, and positively affect the lives of others," said Paul Brandt, host of the show. BUILD IT FORWARD is currently being filmed by Corkscrew Media in the Calgary and Cochrane area. The show is scheduled to air on CMT in 2011, and will be available in over nine million homes across Canada.
