Building a Better App Ecosystem -- Quixey Announces Developer Accounts

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA--(Marketwire - Apr 22, 2011) - Quixey has exciting news for app developers. When Quixey launches on May 23rd, it will offer Developer Accounts. The functional search engine will allow developers to edit their apps' information, access extensive app analytics and view comments about their apps from across the web.

App developers will be able to create accounts to manage their apps (regardless of the apps' platforms) -- all in one place. They will be able to promote their apps by editing their descriptions and updating their apps' screenshots.

One of the most innovative features for app developers is the ability to understand the public's perception of their apps. Quixey's functional search scrapes forums, blogs, social networks and other sources to learn about each app. Quixey will share this information with app developers, allowing developers to monitor what is being said about their apps.

This is just the beginning -- more details about Developer Accounts will be released in the near future. Although specifics are not available at this time, initial feedback from the app developer community has been outstanding. One developer of gaming apps said, "I have played around on the developer's site and it is great. I am really impressed with what Quixey has built."
