Building a Web of Trust

iKarma Introduces New Features to Connect Identity and Reputation From Around the Web

JUPITER, FL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 20, 2006 -- iKarma (OTC: IKMA) has rolled out new features to their popular reputation management service, allowing users to easily bring together all the elements of their online reputation in one place.

"We designed iKarma (www.iKarma.com) so our users could bring the benefits of reputation management out to their other activities on the web," said iKarma CEO, Paul Williams. " With these new features, our users will now be able to bring their other web activities back in to enhance their iKarma. The synergy this creates is truly karmic."

Most people use a number of services scattered across the Internet, each of which gives a separate narrow glimpse into who they are as a person. A user may have comments about her thoughtfulness on a Blogger.com blog, shopping scores that indicate her trustworthiness on eBay, enthusiastic critiques of her photos on Flickr and personality information at Match.com. Now she can unify all those outside reputational websites on her iKarma Profile.

The new version also provides users with the ability to aggregate iKarma reviews from various individual email accounts into a single iKarma reputation profile.

Bring Yourself into Focus

Using iKarma, users bring these glimpses of a partial person into focus and present an accurate picture of themselves as a whole person.

"Mistaken identity is a common problem on the web," said Williams "If you Google my name, you might mistake me for a rock critic, an actor, a brain surgeon or a male escort who bills out at $100 an hour. We all share the same name and we all come up in a search for 'Paul Williams.' Without a way to tell one of us from the other, anyone searching for me might get the impression that my social life is far more interesting than it really is. Our new identity consolidation feature solves this problem by making it easy for people to learn who I really am."

Site integration

iKarma is currently seeking owners of web shopping sites, auction sites, chat forums, job boards, dating sites and other web services interested in integrating reputation management into their business model. iKarma is also seeking beta testers for our upcoming API. The iKarma API will allow interested sites to further integrate iKarma back-end reputation management services into their web sites. Interested site owners and developers should contact Andrew Mayer, Chief Architect at iKarma: api@iKarma.com
