Building New Spaces for Arts and Culture in Eastern Ontario

Government of Canada supports the Upper Canada Playhouse

MORRISBURG, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - June 13, 2015) - Department of Canadian Heritage

The Government of Canada is providing the Upper Canada Playhouse with $97,500 in funding, through the Canada Cultural Spaces Fund, to support the construction of an extension to the main Upper Canada Playhouse theatre.

Guy Lauzon, Member of Parliament (Stormont-Dundas-South Glengarry), made the announcement today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.

  • The Upper Canada Playhouse is a professional theatre company that was established in 1983 in a converted factory in the Village of Morrisburg, Ontario
