Bunchball Announces Additions to Executive Team

New Chief Revenue Officer Joins Company From LinkedIn

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwire - May 31, 2011) - Bunchball, the pioneer and market leader in online gamification solutions, today announced that it has appointed Steve Patrizi, who comes to the company from LinkedIn, to the position of Chief Revenue Officer. The company is also announcing several other new executives that will help lead operations in 2011 and beyond.

Patrizi is a tech industry veteran, and brings more than 16 years of experience in managing social media and agency sales experience. In his new role, he will be focused on driving the company's revenue strategy, and looking at how departments can work together to drive revenue growth and profitability. Prior to joining Bunchball, Patrizi led US advertising sales for LinkedIn, where he worked with brands and advertising agencies to help them connect with LinkedIn's large global audience.

The company also announced three other senior-level management appointments, which will further support growth initiatives.

Gary Chavez has been appointed to the position of vice president of client services. Before joining Bunchball, he worked at Live Nation Entertainment in the Artist Services Division. During that time Chavez held several senior positions including executive vice president of digital services, where he was responsible for driving digital media and marketing strategies as well as client services for the division. He has also held senior positions at Prophet Brand Strategy and Sony Signatures.

Mike Earhart has been named senior vice president of marketing. Previously, he was the vice president of marketing at Smule, an iPhone app developer, where he helped launch the "I Am T-Pain," "Glee" and "Magic Piano" apps, which all reached number one in the iTunes App Store. Prior to that, Earhart served as the vice president of corporate marketing at Tumbleweed, an email security company, and as a director of business development at Oracle.

Kenneth Jones joins the company as the senior vice president of strategy and business development. Most recently, Jones worked for Cisco in its Media Solutions Group. He came to the company through the acquisition of his company Five Across, a white label social networking platform, responsible for powering the communities of and Before founding Five Across, he was a managing director at Innovation Investments where he helped companies build business strategies and management teams.
