New online and in-restaurant Nutritional Information Guide lets consumers make better informed choices Attention: Food/Beverage Editor, Lifestyle Editor TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - June 7, 2006) - As part of its HAVE IT YOUR WAY® commitment to customers, BURGER KING® Restaurants of Canada Inc. has introduced a comprehensive Nutritional Information Guide that helps people make more informed choices when selecting from its wide array of menu items.

The nutritional guide has a complete breakdown of all menu items and can be viewed online (and printed) at BURGER KING® Canada's recently refreshed Canadian website (www.burgerking.ca). The guide is also available in restaurants in the form of trayliners and pamphlets.

"By making this information easily accessible, we're giving people a valuable tool to help them customize their meals, while taking their dietary wants, needs or restrictions into consideration," says Leslie Root, Chief Marketing Officer at BURGER KING® Canada. "This is ideal for people with allergies and special dietary needs, as well as those who are generally interested in monitoring their nutritional intake."

The detailed guide includes nutritional information and ingredients that are separated into categories, allowing customers to locate menu items with ease. Categories include: sandwiches, side orders, beverages, condiments, breakfast, desserts, and salads.

BURGER KING® Canada offers customers a variety of menu items, including selections from the "Lean and Greens" menu with several lighter meal options, like the TenderGrill™ Chicken Sandwich, BK VEGGIE™ Burger and Tendergrill™ Chicken Salads. In addition, customers have the option of making meal combo substitutions, such as a side salad or baked potato instead of French fries or juice, Dasani water or milk instead of a soft drink.
