Burgum Named VP of Maintenance and Properties

JOHNS CREEK, GA--(Marketwired - Aug 12, 2014) - Saia Inc. (NASDAQ: SAIA) announced today that Cris A. Burgum has been named the new vice president of maintenance and properties at Saia LTL Freight.

In this position, he will provide oversight of equipment purchasing, maintenance, and real estate functions.

Burgum's resume includes extensive experience in property management. He worked as a regional manager for an Alabama-based property management company as well as a director for another large firm located in Atlanta, Ga. He holds a bachelor's degree in marketing and transportation logistics from Ohio State University and a master's degree in real estate finance from Georgia State University.

He will be based at Saia's headquarters in Johns Creek, Ga.
