Business Document Signs OEM Agreement With IXIASOFT

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - March 15, 2005) -

Business Document integrates TEXTML Server to Bdoc-Suite, its
business process management solution for enhanced manipulation of XML

IXIASOFT, the embeddable XML database and search engine market leader,
announced today an OEM partnership with Business Document, a leading
provider of Business Process Management (BPM) software solutions. With
this agreement, Business Document will integrate TEXTML Server to
Bdoc-Suite, a document management and automation solution aimed
primarily at the financial, insurance, telecommunications and services
markets. The integrated solution will improve Bdoc-Suite's usability and
publishing capabilities.

Bdoc-Suite is a document management solution designed to facilitate
personalized communications between organizations and their customers.
Bdoc-Suite includes modules that range from document design and assembly
to document integration and delivery, thus fully covering customers'
needs in terms of all functionalities associated with a document's
lifecycle. Business Document's main objective is to allow organizations
to increase business with their existing client base by:

1. Reducing the design and implementation process for new client
2. Increasing customer satisfaction by providing coherent and
personalized communications

Business Document recently decided that they needed to standardize their
content and selected XML as the format for exchanging information within
Bdoc-Suite. Business Document's vision of client documents is unique:
they envision a document as a set of reusable and independent components
which are structured objects or non-structured objects (text, images,
graphics, ...). Bdoc-Suite plans to leverage its XML usage with the
integration of TEXTML Server which will provide the application with a
centralized repository enabling users to re-use components, produce
dynamic content, and deliver enriched information.

"We selected TEXTML Server mainly for its ease of integration and
flexibility to handle differently structured documents. With our
decision to move towards an end-to-end XML architecture, there was a
natural fit between Bdoc-Suite and TEXTML Server." said Philippe Donguy,
Marketing Director at Business Document. "The introduction of native XML
support within our document-oriented product line will facilitate the
publishing process - whether its for online publishing or for printed

"We are very proud of our partnership with Business Document which
enables TEXTML Server to make its mark in the Business Process
Management sector. The integration of our XML database brings enhanced
flexibility and efficiency to Business Documents's document management
solution." said Jean-Paul Chauvet, Vice President of Sales & Marketing

Several Business Document customers are already testing a prototype of
the integrated solution. Business Document and IXIASOFT will both be
present at the up-coming Documation 2005, a conference taking place in
Paris March 15-16th. During Documation, Business Document will be giving
a presentation - "The role of XML in Business Process Management" - as
part of the event's conference schedule.
