Business Marketing Association and Arizona Technology Council to Host the 2011 Marketing Technology Summit

Corporate Marketing Leaders From Eloqua, GE Healthcare, IBM, Infusionsoft and Xerox to Discuss the Knowledge and Tools That Can Help Develop a Successful Marketing Plan

PHOENIX, AZ--(Marketwire - Jul 26, 2011) - Join the Business Marketing Association (BMA) Phoenix and the Arizona Technology Council on August 25, 2011, at the Hilton Scottsdale Resort & Villas for the 2011 Marketing Technology Summit. The event was created to educate marketing professionals in the Southwest on how to successfully implement the latest technologies into their marketing programs. The Marketing Technology Summit connects hundreds of attendees with the marketing leaders and innovators defining industry best practices. Attendees will have access to immediately applicable perspectives, knowledge and tools to help drive marketing success.

"This is the third year that the Arizona Technology Council has joined forces with the Business Marketing Association to host the Marketing Technology Summit in Phoenix," said Steven G. Zylstra, president and CEO, Arizona Technology Council. "The Council was formed to connect, represent and support the state's expanding technology industry. This annual educational forum helps our members better leverage technology to reach and exceed their growth plans."

The Marketing Technology Summit is the only event of its kind in Arizona. It features a keynote presentation, panel discussions and a networking and marketing exposition -- all designed to help marketers in the Southwest build their plans for the future. Event speakers are from leading corporations, including Eloqua, GE Healthcare, IBM, Infusionsoft, Xerox Corporation and CKB2B.

"While the impact of using new technologies to reach customers has been clear for consumer brands, many business-to-business organizations are still challenged with implementing technology-driven marketing strategies that deliver measurable results for their brands," said Sheila Kloefkorn, president of the Business Marketing Association's Phoenix chapter, and president of KEO Marketing. "The 2011 Marketing Technology Summit will present real-life success stories from industry leaders such as IBM and GE Healthcare on how they have used technologies such as online video, search engine optimization, and social media to increase brand awareness and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their marketing programs."
