Business RadioX's Atlanta Legal Experts Welcomes Alvaro Arauz, Mike Hawkins, Walt Murray, and Evan Rosen

Atlanta Legal Experts Discuss Marketing to the Right Client and Building an Efficient Team

ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwired - October 10, 2014) - On August 26th, 2014, Atlanta Legal Experts welcomed Alvaro Arauz with 3a Law Practice Management, Mike Hawkins of The Hawkins Law Firm, Walt Murray with Horizon Background Screening, and Evan Rosen with Jackson Lewis P.C to the studio. The discussion ranged from identifying demographics to enforcing background checks to develop the best team possible.

Alvaro Arauz has been consulting to lawyers since 1997 by teaching them how to achieve the 'holy grail' of greater profits for less work. Currently, his clients ask for his counsel in every facet of their business growth. He believes lawyers should do two things: represent clients and foster new clients.

"I'm a spear fisher, not a net fisher," Arauz said of his marketing approach. "I think you should identify the ideal client and then seek out trusted advisors who know that client. If you want a particular client, you need to know where to find them and become acquainted with those waters."

3a Law Practice Management has helped firms across the country be more successful through their unique approach to law practice management. The approach is considered a blueprint for running the most efficient firm possible, no matter the size. By employing this technique, 3a increases firm performance by using incentives, processes and technology to streamline workflow. 3a manages client data and case files quickly and effectively.

Also featured was Mike Hawkins, founder of The Hawkins Law Firmin Atlanta, Georgia. Listed as one of the Top 100 Lawyers in Georgia by Atlanta Magazine and included among their list of "Super Lawyers" for the past 11 years, he is named "2014 Lawyer of the Year" for DUI Defense in Georgia in the latest edition of Best Lawyers in America featured in U.S. News & World Report magazine.

Walt Murray, Vice President of Horizon Background Screening, also played a big part in the conversation. He has been involved in background check investigations for more than 10 years and worked as an executive in two other companies. Murray has had to hire and dismiss employees, and so he has handled employment issues from both the on-boarding process side, and from the employer side.

Evan Rosen, a Shareholder in the Atlanta office of Jackson Lewis P.C, was also interviewed. He is a litigator and counselor who is committed to the maxim, "Don't tell me what I can't do, tell me how I can legally do want I want to do." He approaches the law from a compliance and liability perspective, but is also sensitive to the business realities facing companies and aggressively pursues good business results for his clients.
