Business RadioX's Let's Talk Small Business Spotlights the NMSDC Regional Suppliers of the Year

Let's Talk Small Business Welcomed to the Studio Current Regional Supplier of the Year Ken Taunton and Past Regional Supplier of the Year Namita Tirath

ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwired - September 29, 2014) - On September 9, 2014, Let's Talk Small Business host Stacey Key was proud to host current and past Regional Supplier of the Year honorees, Ken Taunton of The Royster Group, and Namita Tirath of Pyramid Consulting, to discuss the NMSDC awards process and tips, as well as trends and opportunities in the health and IT industry.

The National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) is the global leader in advancing business opportunities for certified Asian, Black, Hispanic and Native American business enterprises. They connect businesses to corporate members in an effort to increase procurement and enhance supplier diversity. "Some of the most prolific and award-winning MBE firms anywhere in the world are headquartered or have a significant presence in Georgia," said Key. "Every year, just about, we've had award winners coming out of this council."

Named this year as a Regional Supplier of the Year for the Southeastern United States, Ken Taunton of The Royster Group is now a finalist for National Supplier of the Year honors, which will be announced at the NMSDC Annual Convention in Orlando, on November 2-5, 2014. Taunton serves as President and CEO of Royster, a premier executive search and medical services staffing firm.

Also in the studio was Namita Tirath with Pyramid Consulting, a 2012 Regional Supplier of the Year with NMSDC. Tirath is executive vice president for sales and marketing for Pyramid, an IT staffing and solutions company that provides applications, communications and infrastructure to Fortune 500 companies.

According to Key, "This interview was both a celebration of two of our most high-achieving MBEs, and an exclusive discussion of their 'secret sauce' to success."
