Butler Awarded Engineering Design Services Contract From Northrop Grumman

MONTVALE, NJ -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 11, 2005 -- Butler International, Inc. (NASDAQ: BUTLE) announced today it has received a new contract from Northrop Grumman Corporation. Butler's engineering design services contract will be managed in its El Segundo, California, Engineering and Technology Development Center and will support the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program (F-35). Northrop Grumman is a principal teammate on the Lockheed Martin F-35 team. Award of the engineering design services contract, combined with the recent opening of an office in West Lafayette, Indiana, will complete a coast-to-coast offering in CATIA design services, historically limited to Butler's Northeast Region. The West Lafayette, Indiana, and the El Segundo, California, centers are firewall- and VPN-protected and fully ITAR compliant.

"Our relationship with Northrop Grumman goes back 25 years. Our increased relationship and this award signify that we are one of the few select companies that have the technical knowledge, marketplace understanding and geographic strength to deliver services that complement our customer's business objectives, save them money and increase their productivity," commented Edward M. Kopko, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Butler International, Inc.

Senior Vice President James Beckley said: "This award is an important addition to our engineering design services business segment. Existing regional agreements in Southern California and Bethpage, New York, have already made Northrop Grumman one of our top accounts in the country. This expansion of engineering design center services for Northrop Grumman is consistent with Butler's strategy to expand and penetrate our top accounts in our service offerings."
