Genaissance Pharmaceuticals rose 16% in early market trading. Today, Clinical Data Inc. announced that they intend to buy Genaissance Pharmaceuticals in an all-stock transaction valued at approximately $56 million. BWR will be aggressively researching the progress of today's corporate development to see whether or not Genaissance can maintain today's success.

Books-a-Million jumped up 15% in early market trading Tuesday. The company announced today that its board of directors approved a modified "Duction Auction" tender offer to purchase up to 4,000,000 shares of its common stock. BWR will keep Books-a-Million at the top of our gauge to see if today's announcement has the desired effect investors are seeking.

Evolving Systems took an impressive jump this morning, opening $.23 higher than last night's close, and is presently trading up $.30. Today's surge is a result of the announcement that Comcast selected the company's OrderPath and NumenTrack products for number portability and number management. BWR will be evaluating the company’s progress over the next 30 days to see how they will continue their upward momentum.

The Bon-Ton Stores is trading up 15% today, nearly breaking their 52-week high. The company announced that they have reached a definite agreement whereby HSBC Retail Services will administer Bon-Ton's proprietary credit card business. BWR will assess the long-term affect of today's announcement to see if today's news can bring Bon-Ton to new highs.
