UTStarcom is trading up 8% today, as a result of the announcement that they have signed infrastructure contracts with China Telecom to expand Telecom's Internet-protocol based personal access system network in China. The agreement is said to be valued at an estimated $100 million. BWR will be keeping this company on the top of our radar to gauge the short-term and long-term effects of this most recent corporate development.

DayStar Technologies announced today the signing of a purchase agreement with Micro Energy Group for DayStar's exclusive new TerraFoil SP solar cells. Northwest Airline rose 8% in early market trading on 1.6 million shares in volume. Over the next 30 days BWR will continue our aggressive due-diligence on this company to see if we can identify the cause of today's correction.
