Byer California, GAP to Address IT Strategy at Apparel Magazine's Tech Conference West

COLUMBIA, SC--(Marketwire - Jan 30, 2012) - Executives from Byer California and GAP Inc. will speak on IT strategy at the upcoming Apparel Tech Conference West, to be held Wednesday, March 21 at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising's (FIDM) L.A. campus. Fernando Gonzalez, CIO, Byer California and Andy Chiang, Director, Supply Chain Strategy, GAP, will participate in a session titled "Straight Talk on IT: Byer California & GAP Share Their Strategies." The two seasoned executives will share their specific case studies to illustrate the strategies adopted by their firms, as they examine such issues as packaged software vs. custom, methods of implementation, the bottom line results and more. The session will conclude with an open audience Q&A.

The Apparel Tech Conference is designed to help executives strengthen their firm's strategic direction, technology roadmap and overall competitiveness.
