ByIndia.com Features Continue: New E-Mail Interface, Functionality Added to Indian Social Portal

ORLANDO, FL and CHENNAI, INDIA--(Marketwire - July 19, 2007) - India's #1 social network and search engine, www.ByIndia.com, has just rolled out the newest features in its "ByIndia 2.0" updates: a new state-of-the-art interface for ByIndia mail and a streamlined user login. The "ByIndia 2.0" initiative, which has spurred growth of over 200% over the last month, was described by Web2 Corp's (OTCBB: WBTO) CEO William Mobley as, "a directed effort to analyze what the Indian market specifically wants and needs."

The major news for users is a simplified login process. While ByIndia formerly required a separate login to access each different feature of the site, which has been replaced with a single login system. "In the interests of complete user security, ByIndia.com was designed to require a separate login when the user left People.ByIndia.com, for example, and entered another ByIndia social media site such as Blogs.ByIndia.com," Mobley said. "We've changed this now to a single login, but only after taking steps to make sure that user security will not be impacted in way."

ByIndia also has made significant updates to the e-mail interface. The original e-mail interface, designed for quick load times and modularity, has been replaced with a fast loading but much more graphical interface and feature-rich toolset. "We got great feedback from users on the ByIndia mail look and feel," Mobley continued. "Combining user suggestions with some analysis of what functions were most commonly used, we developed what we feel is a low bandwidth but very effective solution for Indian e-mail needs.
