ByteGrid Unveils Expanded Cleveland Technology Center

New Capacity Powering Turnkey Colocation, Cloud and Compliant Solutions From Cleveland's Largest Data Center

CLEVELAND, OH--(Marketwired - Jun 8, 2015) - Responding to increasing enterprise demand for mission critical data center capacity, ByteGrid Holdings LLC, a leading provider of data center and end-to-end IT infrastructure services, today announced the commissioning of 45,000 square feet of new data center space and 4 megawatts of power in the Cleveland Technology Center (CTC) on Rockwell Avenue in downtown Cleveland.

Following its' acquisition of the CTC, ByteGrid embarked on a comprehensive renovation and expansion of the facility. The new build out was completed in less than four months and encompasses 26,000 square feet of new, high density raised floor and 19,000 square feet of conditioned space for mechanical, electrical and power equipment, and new technical office space.

ByteGrid follows a strategic "build to demand" model and is now preparing to build out an additional 30,000 square feet to meet additional demand.

Overall, the new data center is optimized to provide turnkey solutions for large and midsize enterprises and federal organizations seeking high performance mission critical data center colocation, managed hosting and compliant hybrid cloud solutions.

"Since its purchase of the CTC two years ago, ByteGrid has established itself as a valued member of the Cleveland business community," said Tracey Nichols, Director, Cleveland Department of Economic Development. "We applaud ByteGrid's commitment to invest and rejuvenate the CTC as it symbolizes Cleveland's business transformation that continues to gain momentum."

"ByteGrid provides a critical point of presence for the Everstream ultra high speed, high capacity network, and has been a collaborative partner since arriving in Cleveland two years ago," said Brett Lindsey, Everstream President. "As we grow our business, we expect ByteGrid's data center and its broad range of connectivity options, including up to 100 GB connectivity, to serve as an important technology resource for growing northeastern Ohio businesses."
