C-COM Delivers Mobile Units for Hurricane Relief

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Sept. 7, 2005) - C-COM Satellite Systems Inc. (TSX VENTURE:CMI) has delivered over 20 iNetVu Mobile satellite antenna systems to assist with the Hurricane Katrina relief in the gulf coast areas of Louisiana and Mississippi.

The iNetVu mobile self-pointing satellite antennas manufactured by C-COM are being used by Federal, State and local government agencies as well as by private companies involved in emergency assistance to deliver high speed broadband communication over satellite, including Voice over IP and emergency coordination.

Many of the iNetVu Mobile units which were already in the possession of Federal and State Government agencies prior to the hurricane are being requisitioned and dispatched to the disaster area to provide always-on communication and coordination to the rescue teams assisting with this large scale disaster.

"We are pleased to be able to provide expedited delivery of the iNetVu Mobile self pointing satellite antennas to the rescue teams working on saving lives in the hurricane ravaged gulf coast areas of Louisiana and Mississippi. We expect to ship a number of additional units over the next few weeks in response to the increasing demand for this unique technology, which makes it possible to connect many of the emergency teams on the ground via broadband as well as voice within minutes of its deployment.

The great demand for C-COM's proprietary iNetVu Mobile Systems for mission critical applications such as this disaster recovery effort, confirms the versatility and the world wide acceptance of the product", said Leslie Klein, President and CEO of C-COM Satellite Systems Inc.
