C-COM Reports First Quarter Results

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - April 28, 2009) - C-COM Satellite Systems Inc. (TSX VENTURE:CMI) the leading global provider of mobile auto-deploying satellite antenna systems, today announced financial results for its first quarter ending February 28, 2009.

"The first quarter revenues have decreased slightly over the same period last year" said Leslie Klein, President and CEO of C-COM Satellite Systems Inc. "Revenues decreased by 3.9% to $1,481,322 compared with results from the same period last year, when total revenues were $1,541,626. The company is reporting a net profit of $266 a decrease of 99.3% or 0.1 cent per share, compared with results for the same period last year when there was a net profit of $38,136, or 0.1 cent per share".

The company's first quarter sales are traditionally slow and this year due to the world wide economic slow down a number of orders expected in the first quarter have been delayed. Total revenues generated in North America declined by 36.6% as compared to the same period last year, while total revenues from the rest of the world have increased by 97.9% over the same period last year indicating world wide acceptance and continuous demand for the product.

This is the company's 20th consecutive profitable quarter and it continues to remain free of long term debt with a significant cash position," said Leslie Klein, President and CEO of C-COM Satellite Systems Inc.
