OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Sept. 26, 2005) - Volunteer members of CAA clubs all over Canada will be traveling to Parliament Hill on Thursday, September 29 to demand immediate action for the nation's dangerously deteriorating roads and highways.

Warning Signs, a CAA policy brief calling on Ottawa to create a long-term National Highway plan and provide sustained, incremental funding to make Canada's safe, efficient and environmentally responsible, will be released to the media.

A news conference will be held on Thursday, September 29 at 9:30 a.m. EST in the library of the National Press Club at 165 Sparks St., 2nd Floor in Ottawa.

CAA will also show a five-minute video on the nation's worst and most dangerous roads.
