Cabinet NG Integrates With AdvisorVault to Streamline Client Communications for Advisors

Document Management System Allows Advisors to Share Documents With Clients, Simply and Securely Online

HUNTSVILLE, AL--(Marketwire - Jul 25, 2011) - Cabinet NG (CNG), provider of document management and workflow management software, today announced a new integration plug-in for Advisor Products' AdvisorVault offering, a turnkey product designed specifically to help broker-dealers, investment advisors and wealth management companies achieve and maintain data compliance. The new plug-in enables users to automatically sync certain folders in CNG-SAFE and share specified documents with their clients through the AdvisorVault online service. Sharing of documents can also be extended to any other professionals the clients wish to grant access, such as accountants and lawyers. The integration supports both CNG-SAFE and CNG-ONLINE users.

"Bill Winterberg, CFP®, a technology consultant, put me on to CNG. Their products help advisors manage all documents across the firm, not just securities-related items," says Andrew Gluck, CEO, Advisor Products. "Advisors using CNG can sync a client's securities holdings, brokerage statements, estate planning documents and other documents with AdvisorVault from one neatly organized client folder in CNG. And, since CNG's document management system is available as a software purchase or online subscription, it allows advisors to select what's best for their firm."

AdvisorVault automatically notifies clients and allied professionals when documents are posted to their vaults. The integration with CNG-SAFE simplifies and automates an advisor's workflow, making communication between advisors and their clients almost effortless. CNG-SAFE supports local client server and hosted SaaS models, plus the flexibility of switching between models should the advisor's preference change. CNG-SAFE's filing structure mimics the physical filing environment to ensure the transition to paperless is accomplished smoothly and quickly without disrupting existing processes.

"The integration with AdvisorVault makes sharing sensitive documents a breeze, but more importantly, it also helps advisors keep track of what documents a particular client has," said Jon Clark, vice president of sales, CNG. "All an advisor needs to do is select the documents they want to share and click a button. The client automatically gets an email with a link that takes them to where they can see their documents. This streamlines processes and improves client service."

Easy and secure, AdvisorVault offers extraordinary security. Files are encrypted while they are uploaded or downloaded and they are stored using high encryption. By making a client's personal documents accessible 24/7 over the Web, advisors can supply their clients with an extra level of service and convenience.

The new plug-in is now freely available to CNG-ONLINE or CNG-SAFE customers.
