According to Ehrenfeld, this season reflects a mélange of cultural, textural and architectural references, and Caché's fall collection takes its inspiration from the international traveler and her end of summer Mediterranean sojourn. Cache's Jet Setter is looking towards the fall, enjoying life on her own terms with a confidence seen in her bold fashion choices and sense of style. Whether shopping the chic boutiques, visiting museums or sightseeing along the panoramic coasts, this multi-faceted woman is refueling her mind, body and spirit. For her, it's about the journey, not just the destination!
August's inspiration focuses on our traveler's first destination, Sicily's eastern coast. The collection incorporates the trend that juxtaposes edgy elements with dresses and showcases fitted jackets and soft dresses -- some with faux leather detailing and others with touches of gold hardware and metallic -- transitional tops and jackets, great fitting jeans and warm leopard-print separates. The color palette of romantic tones features a variety of solids and prints in shades of wine, olive and purple. Accessories are mostly gold, another trend seen on the runways. Meant to layer, jewelry pieces are sleek and sexy with a nod to the island of Capri in the '70s.
September's collection turns to the romance, art and the history of our jetsetter's second stop, Venice. It incorporates the continuing trend of asymmetric cuts and high-low hems, seen in some of the easy-fitting blouses and tunic tops. Highlights include sportswear and day dresses which feature leather blocking, sheer insets and studding, and evening looks that incorporate hardware, sequins and lace. The colors are more intense and include trend-right shades of currant, silver and gunmetal. An injection of black and ivory refreshes the palette. Handbags and accessories follow suit with fringe, studs, and mixed media and introduce "date bag" clutches and oversized statement jewelry.
October is inspired by the season's trend for soft dressing and our traveler's last destination, Dubrovnik. Items include sportswear in watery reptile prints and body contoured dresses in luxe stretch and lace. Touches of silver hardware and embellishment detail some of the key looks. Luxe stretch leggings with zipper or moto detail as well as outerwear pieces in faux fur and debossed leather are highpoints in the collection. Several cocktail and long evening styles feature intricate beading and sequins. Colors include sapphire, African violet and metallic, a universal fashion trend this season. The collection also introduces accessories like statement jewelry and the 'bucket' handbag as well as a collection of leather bags with mixed media accents like crystal panther hardware.
