Cadan's TGD 15 Drillhole at Tagpura Copper Gold Porphyry Intersects 162.60 Metres @ 0.80% Cu and 0.31 g/t Au and Confirms Higher Grade Skarn Mineralisation

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Feb. 28, 2008) - CADAN RESOURCES CORPORATION (TSX VENTURE:CNF) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that Drill Hole TGD 15, located on bench four of the Tagpura copper gold porphyry has returned a significant mineralized intersection of: 162.6m @ 0.8% Cu and 0.31 g/t Au from 1.50 to 164.1m (EOH).

TGD 15 has confirmed a tabular, near vertical high-grade zone of skarn style mineralization that lies within the Tagpura deposit porphyry copper-gold system.

This high-grade zone of skarn style mineralization was first identified in channel sampling of the open pit wall with previously reported results: 132m @ 0.74% Cu and 0.36 g/t Au.

This skarn style mineralized zone was first drill tested in TGD 1 which returned 208.6m @ 0.45% Cu and 0.17 g/t Au.

To further test this emerging high-grade zone of skarn style mineralization, TGD 4 was drilled some 64m along strike to the north east of TGD 1, TGD 14 and TGD 15 and at a higher RL and returned a previously reported intersection of 95m @ 0.48% Cu and 0.12 g/t Au from 94m to 189m.

TGD 15 was drilled to intersect the mineralized zone about 80m below TGD 4 and now indicates a north easterly plunging zone of high grade skarn style mineralization that is contained within the larger Tagpura copper gold porphyry mineralized system currently within an area of some 2.75 km long and 1.5 km wide.

Current logging of drill holes TGD 16 and TGD 17 and interpretation of geophysical data indicate porphyry style bulk tonnage potential and on-going and future drill holes will continue to test the bulk tonnage potential as well as the grade and extent of the high grade skarn style mineralization at depth and along strike.

Cooper, Exploration Manager Philippines who is the Qualified Person as required by National Instrument 43-101, and who is the technical person responsible for this news release. The Qualified Person has verified the data disclosed in this news release, including sampling, analytical and test data underlying the information and opinions contained in this news release.

Grade intersections have been calculated using the weighted average of all samples within the intersection length with no values cut.

All sample preparation was undertaken by McPhar Geoservices (Phil) Inc at its General Santos facility in Southern Mindanao. McPhar is an ISO 9001 certified laboratory. Drilling samples are pulverized and 200 gram sub samples are sent to Genalysis Laboratories in Perth, Western Australia for analysis using the FA 50/SAAS method (fire assay with atomic absorption finish) for gold, and conventional wet chemical methods for copper. Genalysis Laboratories is a NATA accredited laboratory which operates in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 (1999) including the requirements of ISO 9002:1994.
