Cadec Global's New DeliveryTracker Application Extends Trucking Supply Chain to Point of Delivery

Cadec Now Offers Turnkey Delivery Tracking, Including Handhelds

MANCHESTER, NH--(Marketwire - June 18, 2008) - Cadec Global, a leading provider of advanced fleet management solutions, today introduced a new version of DeliveryTracker™, a highly configurable mobile application that extends a company's supply chain to the point of delivery. DeliveryTracker 2.0 is an optional software component to Cadec's industry-leading fleet management systems.

DeliveryTracker capabilities include:

--  Bar-code scanning;
--  Full detail invoice/manifest;
--  Payment/credit handling;
--  Electronic signature capture; and
--  In-cab printing.

DeliveryTracker enables fleets to collect data using the industry's broadest range of handheld devices, including those from Honeywell/Handheld Products, Intermec and Motorola/Symbol. Data is conveyed as an XML file from the handheld to the Cadec On-Board Computer (OBC), and then relayed via wi-fi or cellular network back to the fleet's central office, where it can be easily integrated with enterprise applications such as Supply Chain Management (SCM) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

Based on its strong business relationships with handheld manufacturer partners, Cadec is the only fleet management software provider offering turnkey delivery tracking to its customers. Cadec can resell the handheld devices as part of a fully integrated paperless delivery system, providing unprecedented levels of automation and cost savings.

Pate Dawson Company, one of the largest and most progressive independent foodservice distributors in the southeast, was one of the first companies to purchase DeliveryTracker.

"One of the keys to Pate Dawson's growth and success has been our commitment to implementing state-of-the-art information systems," said Mark Grady, Director of Information Services for Pate Dawson. "Cadec's fleet management software enabled us to extend our supply chain management effort right into our truck cabs. It was simple for us to integrate Cadec into our existing environment, which meant we could start to reap value from the investment almost immediately. We're very pleased with the results."

"DeliveryTracker is our most popular add-on module -- the data it captures is essential to running a customer-oriented transportation business," said Michael Baney, CEO of Cadec. "Now with our ability to support all the leading handhelds and provide turnkey solutions where needed, we can help customers accelerate their fleet management rollouts and achieve faster return on their technology investments."

Cadec's new version of DeliveryTracker is available immediately. Existing customers on maintenance can upgrade at any time by contacting their Cadec account representative. For more detail, visit www.cadec.com.
